USAID Creates Business Opportunities to Former Commanders and Brings Them to Civil Life



USAID funded IDEA-NEW Program creates long term employment to Afghans in rural areas. In this activity, the project brought former a local commander into civil life by assisting him to create a small business that provides employment to laborers in the production of trellis posts, which can double the yield of vineyards and so increase farmers income.
